Polycarbonate (PC) is an engineering thermoplastic renowned for its exceptional impact resistance (virtually unbreakable), high optical clarity (up to 90% light transmission), and thermal stability (service temp: -135°C). PC processes via injection molding/extrusion but requires pre-drying to prevent hydrolysis.
